Lot 243:
With a nicely engraved blade on both sides, brass fittings, and a pommel. The blade features an etched Prussian Imperial eagle on one side. The grip is made of carved staghorn. The scabbard is made of stitched (original) leather.
Germany, 19th Century.
L: 25 1/2 in., (64.8 cm.)
Condition: Good with the original gilding on the brass mounts almost entirely lost, the blade has dark spots but it is not pitted.
