Lot 266:
The steel blade bears an obscured maker’s mark on the left ricasso which appears to be that of Walker & Hall. The guard is polished nickel or brass of a trapezoidal shape. The handle is the typical coffin-handle design with polished stag-horn scales and a decorative silver pommel. The scabbard is tooled leather with some scuffing and wear from age.

Condition: Very good.
