Lot 290:
The first dagger is possibly a North African Koummya with a wooden handle and steel blade. It rests in a standard hilt that is brass mounted with some decorative elements.
The second dagger is possibly a jambiya probably originating from the Middle East. The hilt and scabbard are both steel made with decorative silver inlay featuring a floral and vine motif. The blade ricasso also follows the same silver inlay pattern.
Largest: 15 1/2 in. (39.5 cm.)
Condition: General wear to the materials. First blade is rusted across most of its surface. Second blade has some scratches and dents in places.
