A Persian Kard dagger of the 19th century, engraved all over with intricate filigree and foliate decoration, with the blade terminating in an unusual conical tip. The cylindrical handle of the dagger is primarily of silver with a bolster of gilt-brass and a semi-spherical pommel which bears a small ring for affixing a lanyard or tassel.
