Lot 395:
A lot of Islamic-style blades possibly originated in the North African region. The curved designs are similar to Jambiya designs and possibly used as short swords or daggers. The handle of the first blade is made from horn and the second is wood.
North Africa – 19th Century
Longest: 22 1/2 in. (57 cm.)
Condition: Visible signs of age and wear onf the blades (see pictures provided). A crack on the wooden handle of the second blade on both sides. Chipping throughout the blades. Missing scabbards.
