A nicely detailed bronze bust of the South American revolutionary hero Simón Bolívar as a young man, early in his political and military career. The finely detailed bust is set atop a columnal plinth with a wooden core.
South America, 19th Century.
Dimensions: 15 3/8 in., (39 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall with a nice patina and very minor oxidation in some crevices.
