Boris Sveshnikov, print on paper, illustrations for the novel "Dream" by Emile Zola (French novelist, critic, and political activist who was the most prominent French novelist of the late 19th century, 1840-1902). Inscribed in pencil lower left "No. 8 for page 6" and to the center "On the spread of two pages". The illustrations were made for the complete collected edition of Zola’s work published by Khudozhesvennaya Literatura in 1964. Housed in a wooden frame.
Boris Petrovich Sveshnikov (Russian, 1927-1998) was a painter, graphic artist and book illustrator. He is known for his series of labor camp drawings and illustrations made for the State Literary Publishing House.
