Vasily Sitnikov, a mixed media and ink on paper drawing depicting a nude corpulent woman. Inscribed lower left by the author "I should make a painting like this!" and dated "1975, 11, SUN" lower right. Matted, housed in a wooden frame.
Provenance: Private collection of Vladimir Titov.
Vasily Yakovlevich Sitnikov (1915-1987) was a Russian painter. He was one of the most vivid "landmark" figures of the post-war Soviet Nonconformist Art of Russia, and a living legend in Moscow’s artistic milieu.
