This bronze vase was created in the style of an Ancient Greek Calyx Krater and commissioned in commemoration of a family by the name of Job. The underside of the foot reads ‘Zur Erinnerung an Familie Job: Berlit Kassel November 1927’ [In Memory of the Job Family: Berlit Kassel November 1927].
