This is a gilt-brass cartridge box depicting a mounted Turkish warrior in combat with a foot soldier, framed with floral decoration on the front and sides of the box. The lid of the box with a sculpted handle topped with three ball-shaped finials. The back mounted with a bracket for attaching to a belt.
Ottoman Empire, 19th Century.
