Tibetan 19th-century bronze figure of Yamantaka with a bull’s head, the wrathful form of the bodhisattva Manjushri. Depicted in union with his spiritual consort Vajravetali. Yamantaka wears a crown with five skulls, symbolizing victory over the five weaknesses of the human personality. The sculptural group is set on a brose plinth decorated with lotus petals.
