A fine pair of monumental French hand-painted porcelain urns by Sevres mounted on a gilt-bronze base. The urns depict battle scenes with Napoleon Bonaparte. The neck and base of vases are painted in cobalt blue and are decorated with a gilt French Imperial eagle. signed H. DESPREZ / Sevres.
The verso is marked with Sevres stamp in blue ink underglaze.
Late 19th century.
