Metal three bar hilt of British pattern with integral back strap and pommel, wire wrapped black grip. Curved blade etched with swirling patterns and inscription "Made in India". Wooden scabbard with metal mounts is covered with black painted cloth. Gray patina with areas and pitting on metal parts.
