A massive Turkish shamshir with Damascus steel blade with two fullers on each side. There is a n inscription on one side of the blade made with etching. Horn hilt with brass rib. Brass cross guard fastened to the grip with twisted brass wire. Wooden scabbard wrapped in dark brown stitched leather. White metal mounts with chiseled design. Ca. 19th cen.
Dimensions: L: 39 in., (99 cm.)
Condition: Good with scabbard leather repaired at throat
