Depicting an elderly knight with gilded helmet. He is turned a little to the right; his eyes are cast down. He wears a dark coat with reddish sleeves. On his head is a richly wrought gilt helmet with ear-pieces and a plume of short red feathers. Dark background. By Camille Faure (1874 – 1956) who was active/lived in France. Camille Faure is known for art deco enamel vases. Artist signature lower right, Limoges, France.
