A Soviet propaganda poster ""Shame on Israeli aggressors!"". Artist Victor Koretsky (1909 – 1998). Published by ""Izobrazitel’noe iskusstvo"". Moscow, 1972. Circulation: 75,000 copies. After Israel chose a pro-Western course and a general orientation toward the United States, the USSR began to position Israel as an aggressor and rival to the USSR’s Arab allies. The rhetoric of the Soviet media in the 70s of the XX century is connected with these political processes.
