A bronze figurine depicting an Arab carpet dealer. Patinated and cold bronze painting. The details are well worked out: folds, patterns and fringe on the oriental rug, merchant’s facial features and clothing elements. The carpet is decorated with several stones of different colors. The work was performed in the style of the famous Italian sculptor Franz Xavier Bergman (1861–1936).
Dimensions: H: 4 1/4 x 4 5/8 x 5 3/4 in., (11 x 11.5 x 14.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good estate condition
