A small Cauacaisna dagger made for a boy, featuring a fullered blade with the fullers engraved with floral motif. The maker’s smark in at the forte. The hilt is of horn mounted in engraved and niello silver. The scabbard is made of wood covered in dark red velvet with an engraved and niello silver mount and chape. Late 19th – early 20th cc.
Dimensions : L: 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.)
Condition : The blade shows minor scratches, the silver mounts are in good condition, the scabbard velvet is worn
