Antique carved Balinese Goddess Dewi Sri polychrome wooden figurine, Mystic Moon Woman with Fishtail, an Indonesian art. This elegant figure of a female goddess is carved from a single piece of light wood. The figure is in paying pose and is attired in the traditional costume invoking a goddess. Her headdress is elaborate and her hair piled high in a curl to the top of the head. Provenance: Collection of Edward Frey, the author of The Kris: Mystic Weapon of the Malay World (Images of Asia).
Dimensions : Height: 11 in. (28 cm.)
Condition : A piece with good patina.
