Brass D-guard hilt with straight quillon marked "VERSAILLES", a pair of elliptical langets, leather-covered wood grip with wire binding, curved single-edged blade with wide fuller, stamped with ordinance manufacturer’s mark. Wood scabbard is covered with brass with two fitting and suspension rings. Complete with white leather knot.
