A French cavalry officer saber. The brass hilt is stamped with ordnance mark "B" on the quillon, straight unfullered blade stamped with inspection marks on the ricasso, leather covered ribbed grip is spiral bound with twisted wire, stitched leather scabbard with two brass fittings.
