A French Revolutionary Period shortsword or side arm featuring brass guard with pierced crowned lion an dolphin. Single-edged slightly curved blade with one wide and one narrow fuller close to blade spine on each side. Ca. 1789 — 1796.
Dimensions: L: 35 in., (89 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, blade is slightly pitted, original grip leather with well preserved twisted brass wire
