The sword has a matching number "6901" stamped on the guard, blade, and scabbard. The blade is in excellent condition and marked by the manufacturer "Weyersberg, Kirchbaum & Co. Solingen" and with the seal of Argentina and “SABLE DE CABia (Caballeria) MODELO 1898“ (Cavalry Saber). Knuckle guard has Argentinian crest, checkered plastic handle with two rivets. Metal blued scabbard.
