Metal hilt with ribbed grip and cup guard, marked on the pommel "252" and "1828", slightly curved blade with false edge stamped on the ricasso with inspection marks, on the blade rib Zlatoust factory and year are chiseled in Cyrillic "L.P.O. Zlatoust 1857." Stitched leather scabbard with metal fittings.
