A Russian Imperial Army light cavalry M1827 officer’s saber issued in 1837. With curved single edged blade with one wide groove on both sides, brass guard featuring Russian arsenal marks, wooden grip wrapped in black leather with twisted brass wire, steel scabbard with two lose suspension rings.
The blade is marked in Cyrillic on the spine The Russian inscriptions read as follows: "Zlatoust, March 1873."
Dimensions: L: 41 in., (104 cm.)
Very good with a couple of dents to the scabbard
