A Georgian silver-mounted kinjal with characteristic Mngrel Region flatten-diamond shape blade. engraved and nielloed silver fitting hallmarked with Russian Imperial 84 proof marks, in suite silver-mounted horn grip. The silver throat features Georgian inscription in niello. Ca. late 19th — early 20th c.
Dimensions: L: 16 7/8 in., (48 cm.)
Condition: Very good with a couple of small chips to the blade edge
