An Islamic Ottoman Empire, Balkan, Greek or Montenegrin flintlock (miquelet) holster (KUBUR) pistols, early 19th c. each with elaborate low grade silver mounts in high relief, barrel retains original chiseled decoration. A similar pair is shown in R. Elgood’s "Firearms of the Islamic World", Page 92.
Dimensions: L: 20 1/2 in., (52 cm.)
Condition: Blade is pitted, good overall
