An early American light cavalry officer’s sword dates ca 1790-1800. Brass hilt is of a characteristic French form. Carved horn grip, curved, single-edged blade with one wide fuller on each side, stitched leather scabbard with once gilt brass mounts.

Condition: Good overall, scabbard leather is worn
