Soviet officer’s shashka, "Podznamenka." Brass pommel with soviet star and D-shaped guard decorated with olive branches and stamped with "P" inspection mark (in Cyrillic), ribbed wood handle, curved blade with one wide and three narrow fullers on each side. Wood black lacquered scabbard with brass mounts stamped with Zlatoust Factory inspection marks. Original brown leather tassel.
