A German crossbow also called a foot bow because it features a stirrup at its front that enabled the crossbowman to hold the bow firmly to the ground as he bent it back. The cylindrical nut on the upper part of the bow made of bone features a groove on its top for the arrow.
Dimensions: L: 35 3/8 in., (92.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good with wood and bone inserts well preserved, hook may be a later placement
