An Islamic Causcasin dagger (kama) with beautifully forged double-grooved faceted blade decorated with gold inlay on one side. Silver mounts feature Arabic inscriptions on the throat. The grip is of dark brown bull horn mounted in silver in suite. Wooden scabbard covered with black leather. Ca. second half of the 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 22 3/8 in., (56.4 cm.)
Condition: Very good, orignal shagreen scabbard leather is intact, silver mounts have several dents
