A Persian Qajar Period shortsword (quama) dagger. Steel mounts decorated with gold inlay, wooden scabbard covered with dark red velvet. Solid horn hilt with steel rosettes (rivets). Double edged pointed blade with one deep narrow fullers on each side. Ca. early 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 22 1/4 in., (56.5 cm.)
