Gilt bronze badge with original period ribbon, horizontal pinback, obverse depicts monogram of Prince Alfons of Bavaria topped by royal crown within an oak leaf wreath, manufacturer’s mark on the back "M.HEINLOTH D.R.G.M." Non official award, established in 1920 by Prince Alfons awarded for merits in hunting, military & veteran organizations, shooting clubs, etc.
Dimensions: 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 in., (4.5 x 4 cm.)
