The book analyzes the practice of awarding in the White Army regiments in different regions of Russia during the Civil War of 1918-1921. The practice of rewarding of Russian imperial awards in various White Armies, i.e. the South of Russia in the Volunteer Army and the All-Great Don Army in the East of Russia, in the armies of the Provisional Siberian and All-Russian Governments, in military formations under the command of G. Semenov, in the forces of the Northern Front, in the Northwest Army and Western Volunteers. The rules for the awarding of officers, commissioned and NCO are given in appendices. Valuable information for collectors is the classification of St. George crosses and medals by manufacturers as well as serial numbers. The material is accompanied by the publication of all available documents found in the archives most of which are published for the first time.
