Metal hilt with D-guard, ribbed handle wrapped with ray skin , wound with finely twisted wire, and gilded miniature regiment badge attached. Slightly curved blade is finely engraved with floral motifs, panoply of arms and a coat of arms, marked "W.K.&C." metal scabbard with throat mount retained by two screws, two rings.
