A US M1852 Naval officers sword with engraved blade stamped MADE IN USA at forte. In overall very good condition with light pitting to the chape. Gilt brass hilt mounts. Scabbard is of steel covered in original black leather with gilt brass mounts. Ca. second half of the 20th century.
