The sculpture represents a statue of the ancestor – a male figure with a disproportionately large head, huge eyes, a mouth wide open in which three large teeth are visible. Arms bent at the elbows rest on the divorced knees. The cavity inside the statue is probably intended to be used as a container for ritual objects of animal or vegetable origin.
Dimensions: 17 x 7 x 6 ½ in. (43.18 x 17.78 x 16.51 cm.)
Condition: Good, with slight scratches and scuff marks
