A photoengraving with the painting by Henryk Weyssenhoff (1859-1922), "History of a khanjar" (1891). The genre scene depicts a room filled with oriental objects, in which two noblemen in 18th-century robes are talking. The younger one looks at the khanjar — this is a kind of Turkish combat knife, incorrectly called a dagger. The engraving is in good condition, with slight scuffs commensurate with age. Framed in matte. Circa 19th century.
