A gilded bronze French Revolution period figurine made in a satirical style. Depicting a standing man in military uniform who whips another man bent in front of him. The figures are mounted on a pedestal supported by two caricatured figures. In front of the pedestal, there is a large drum, hollow inside. Ca. 19th cen.
Dimensions: H: 11 1/2 in., (29.5 cm.) Base: 10 x 6 1/2 in., (25.5 x 16.5 cm.)
