A chess set of 32 expertly carved figures. Each figure is carefully detailed, coasters are decorated with relief ornament. In a wooden box with a silk lining, which transforms into a playing surface. Ca. early 20th cen.
Dimensions: The board is 20 x 20 in., (50 3/4 by 50 3/4 cm.) The largest figurine is 7 in. (17.8 cm.) The smallest figurine is 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.)
