A fine quality Turkish (Ottoman) yataghan sword complete with its characteristic carved eared hilt set with red coral stones in its brass-mounted scabbard. A massive single-edged recurved blade featuring silver inlay decorations and Arabic inscription in gold on one side. Early 19th century.
Dimensions : L: 31 7/8 in. (81 cm.)
Condition : Some wear and minor losses to the scabbard, small cracks to the hilt
