The trophy cup is designed like a torch with a stylized stand representing the Italian Fascist Party symbol of a bundle of sticks and axe. The design is based on the ancient Imperial Roman symbol of power carried by lictors. The top part of the trophy is engraved with the names of the cities and dates the trophy went through: Roma 1934, Milan 1935, Berlino 1936, Colonia 1937, Prague 1938.
