With Mysore Armory markings on the blade, of a characteristic form steel forged grip with chiseled floral design enriched with silver overlay. In the 17th century India, this type of katar (a push dagger) was adopted across South Asia and became a standard dress accessory in the Mughal courts.
Dimensions: L: 18 in., (46 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with blade re-sharpened
