A WWI Turkish pilot’s silver-plated brass badge. The badge is surmounted with the Tughra of Sultan Mehmed Reshad V and the A.H. date "799" on the bottom. The badge was issued in 1914 and is probably semi-official since no instituting decree or awarding document is known.

Dimensions : L: 2 in. (5 cm.) W: 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.)
