A gun powder shell-shaped flask is made of wood covered with a marbled pattern of green and red lacquer bordered by a delicate gilt floral design. The stopper and chain are made of silver. The spout is faceted and is decorated with small brass studs. Late 18th century.
Dimensions: 5 1/2 x 7 1/8 in., (14 x 18 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with wear of the gilding
