A Russian silver match holder, featuring silver, and gold overlays in the form of a silver shoulder strap, a gilded monogram, and number seven, surrounded by a wreath of thorns. On the back, there is a crowned double-headed eagle with a scepter and orb. Hallmarked with an 84 silver standard and maker’s initials. Late 19th – early 20th century. Weight: 1.2 oz, 36 g.
