The case was probably given as a gift to a Naval office since two of the gold and enamel overlay depict an anchor and St. Andrew flag a symbol f the Russian Imperial Fleet. A champagne bottle symbolizes graduation. The gilt interior features Russian silver hallmarks: 84 standard and the Cyrillic latter of the maker. Weight: 4.8 o., 136 g.
