Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, the period of Nicholas II reign. The terracotta color rim is decorated with the gold decor in the form of stylized flower stems and the image of a black imperial eagle, the state emblem of the Russian Empire. The center is painted with a view of the embankment and the building of the Stock Exchange in St. Petersburg. On the reverse side, there is a green overglaze stamp of the manufacturer with the monogram of Nicholas II under the imperial crown and the date 1900. Provenance: Sotheby’s October 8, 1998.
