A very rare vintage Soviet propaganda porcelain plate made by Dulevo Porcelain Factory. This porcelain plate commemorates athletics competition between teams of the USSR and Great Britain in 1959. The antique sculpture "Discobolus" is depicted against the background of waving flags of the USSR and Great Britain. Hand painted and decorated with gilding. In very good condition, no chips or cracks. On the back there is a stamp of the Dulevo Porcelain Factory with the inscription "MADE IN USSR".
