In gold with red and blue enamels. The medal is an eight-pointed star covered with scarlet enamel against a background of golden rays. On the obverse there is a relief plate with a golden eagle. On the reverse there is a round medallion with an image of an anchor and crossed swords. The medal is bordered by a blue enamel stripe with the inscription: "DEUS ET LIBERTAS". With an original ribbon with a yellow stripe in the center and blue and red stripes on the sides. The connecting ring is engraved with the individual number 973. Weight: 0.9 o., 24 g.
